FREEPORT is on the south shore of Long Island, ten miles east of John F. Kennedy
International Airport, and north of Jones Beach. The Meadowbrook Parkway is the eastern
border of Freeport.
FROM THE CITY.... Grand Central Parkway (which becomes Northern State Parkway); or
Long Island Expressway (I-495) to Exit 38; or the Belt Parkway to the Southern State
Parkway. All of these roads go eastbound to the Meadowbrook Parkway.
FROM MEADOWBROOK PARKWAY .... Take Meadowbrook southbound (most signs indicate toward
Jones Beach) to exit 8-W, which is south of the Southern State Parkway. Exit 8-W
puts you westbound on Route 27, better known as Sunrise Highway in Freeport. Travel
west one mile and
be prepared to make a left turn when you are adjacent to the Freeport
Water Tower. There is a traffic signal and a
left-turn lane at that point. Turn left and head south
on South Bayview Avenue.
LOCAL STREETS.... From Freeport Water Tower on Sunrise Highway, south on South Bayview
Avenue one mile to first stop sign. Second right-side street beyond the stop sign
is Shelley Street. Right on Shelley, then immediate left on to Gerald Avenue.
Nine Gerald Avenue is the first building on the left. Law office entrance at street
level is handicapped accessible.
